This sewing pattern includes detailed, illustrated step-by-step instructions suitable even for beginners with basic sewing skills. The Layer Up Vest is a versatile vest that can be worn year-round, depending on your fabric choice – whether it's softshell, quilted fabric, dry oilskin, corduroy, fleece, or rain jacket fabric. The vest is always lined, and you can optionally add an extra layer like thermal fleece or Thinsulate – ideal for colder days. It's sewn with a zipper or snap fasteners. The collar is an integral part of the pattern, and a hood can be added as an option.

The pattern contains:

• Sizes range from 74 to 158
• The sewing pattern in A4 format for home printers, with size layers that can be shown and hidden.
• The pattern in A0 format for large-format printing, also with size layers that can be shown and hidden.
• The pattern as a projector file for projecting the pattern pieces onto fabric, without fold lines, with thickly marked lines and enlarged text.
• A detailed, interactive, step-by-step guide, suitable for both sewing beginners with basic knowledge and advanced sewers.
• The option to select seam and hem allowances, optionally with or without.
